A very quiet area with about a 5 minute walk to beach. We were there in the off-season, so may be different in the summer. They require a $20 refundable deposit for a 30 amp to 50 amp line. Cable not too expensive at $2/day.
The staff was friendly. It looked as if most who were there were long-term rentals. It was off-season but there was plenty to do in San Marcos. The indoor pool was not heated so was chilly, but in the summer would be great as it is all enclosed. There are paths to the river, which was really pretty. Cable is included and nothing extra for kids (my pet peeve is charging extra for kids!)
Overall this is a really great campground. They do charge for Wi-Fi (paid for 1 day and connection was super fast, unlike free Wi-Fi at other parks) and kids, which just tends to be a pet peeve of mine and why I didn't give them a 10. Everyone is really friendly and helpful. Back-in sites were not as tight as pull-throughs. Although the beach is small, there's plenty of room where you're not too close to others. The location is great and centrally located. We were there for Thanksgiving which was awesome! We celebrated with a great view. We would definitely go back.
This is a really nice RV park. We didn't get to use the pool, but it looked nice. They offer discount tickets to some shows and can get you tickets to most shows at the front. When we were there they offered a pancake and sausage breakfast, and they always have coffee in the mornings. Front staff weren't too aware of activities other than shows, but were friendly. Sites are hard to level as it is up in northern Branson in the hills.
This is an excellent family park with playground and activities for children. We had a premiere site which was very close to the dunes. Wi-Fi was slow, but worked well in the rec center. The park is gated and very safe; couldn't get by them without your tag. It has a great location. Also there is a local rental car 1/2 mile north which came to pick you up free. They do allow late arrivals.
